Dear friends,
You once walked through the doors of the Ecce Homo Pilgrim House in Jerusalem, a place of peace, hospitality and prayer in the heart of the Holy City. There you found a spiritual home, a welcoming stop on the footsteps of Christ. Today, this house that welcomed you needs your help.
The conflict shaking the Holy Land has virtually halted pilgrimages. Ecce Homo is now operating at a reduced capacity, with very limited accommodation, and is facing a critical economic situation. It could soon close its doors if we do not manage to raise the $280,000 needed for its survival in the coming months. Let us not be daunted by this amount, but believe in the power of generosity!
Ecce Homo is not just a place of accommodation: it is a living Christian presence in Jerusalem, a space for prayer and fraternity, a bridge between Christian, Jewish and Muslim communities. It bears witness, in deeds, to the Gospel of peace in a context marked by division and suffering.
Your donation, whatever the amount, will enable this mission to continue. It will keep the Christian light shining in the Holy City and preserve this place that has given you so much.
Thank you for supporting Ecce Homo. Thank you for keeping hope alive in Jerusalem.
« For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. » (Mt 6,21)
