You once walked through the doors of Abuna Faraj’s guest house in Nazareth, a place of peace, hospitality and prayer in the Holy Land. There you found a spiritual home, a welcoming stop on the footsteps of Christ. Today, this house that welcomed you needs your help.
The conflict shaking the region has stoped pilgrimages. Abuna Faraj is now operating at a reduced pace, with very limited accommodation, and is facing a critical economic situation. It could soon close its doors if we do not manage to raise the 45,000 euros needed for its survival in the coming months. Let us not be daunted by this amount, but believe in the power of generosity!
Abuna Faraj is not just a place to stay: it is a living Christian presence in Nazareth, a place of prayer and fellowship, a bridge between Christian, Jewish and Muslim communities. It bears witness, in deeds, to the Gospel of peace in a context marked by division and suffering.
